With GWE, we invest directly in the female half of the population to sustainably broaden Gambia’s foundation.

Our vision is equality of opportunity:

• Targeted Talent Development & STEM: Building on the GFM program (Gambia Future Minds), we place a special focus on training women in technical and scientific professions. We are educating the female engineers and technicians of tomorrow who will maintain and manage the WAPSG and the MWESN.
• Economic Independence through IT: We promote the financial sovereignty of women through training in the use of the Gambia Cash App. This provides them with direct access to wages, loans, insurance (GHHA), and state benefits (such as GFSA food cards) – independent of traditional structures.
